    Are you ready for The Schools and Academies Show 2018?

    Before we can all get into the Christmas spirit and relax, one of the biggest events in the sector approaches, bringing many opportunities for education professionals across all MATs and Academies to gain an invaluable insight into topical discussions, new products and how to deal with changes throughout the sector.

    This year, there are a few changes to be aware of. Firstly, it’s the widely anticipated event’s first year as The Schools & Academies Show, which better reflects the needs of and caters for all types of schools. Another change is to our own presence at the show; now falling under the IRIS Software Education Division, PS Financials will sit alongside ParentMail and ContactGroup, along with the other companies which are a part of the IRIS umbrella, showcasing our Education solutions.

    We will be discussing a range of different topics at the show this year across different theatres, including:

    The Final Ingredient Needed for Your Full Suite of Financial Reporting Tools

    Our Education Strategy Director, Will Jordan, will be presenting this talk which looks at the full breadth of financial reporting tools available to academies, in addition to sharing a new piece of software which will truly maximise your reporting potential as an Academy or MAT. Don’t miss his talk at 12:00pm in the MAT Summit Theatre.

    Extending the Reach of the Central Team, Utilising Technology Correctly to Increase Efficiency

    At the Business, Benchmarking and Financial Management stage, Martin Holyoak, Education Product Specialist at PS Financials, is going to be discussing the main problems experienced across the sector as a result of funding. Martin will also be taking a look at the time saved utilising technology, compared with manual processes and paperwork, as well as the technology which is available to aid these processes and modernise how back-office teams work.     Excellence in Schools – Parent / School Communications: 21 Years On

    Sue Atkins, who is a Parenting Expert, Broadcaster and Author, joins us at the Business, Benchmarking and Financial Management stage to share an insight into parent communication over the years. Taking a look at what progress has been made, the importance of this communication and how effective it currently is, Sue will also be discussing ways in which we can evolve based on what we have learnt over the last 21 years. As our guest speaker, be sure to join her talk at 14:00pm and discover more about parent communication.

    Our product experts will be on stand at E10 discussing new and existing products with live demos throughout the day. We will also be hosting a Customer Lounge for our customers to discuss any questions they have about the software with our product specialists and technical experts.
